Lanham Services End User Training

Lanham Services is excited to announce end-user training courses designed to educate new and experienced users on the Lanham E-Ship, EDI, and OWR products. In each course we will discuss best practices, workflow, basic setup, documents, and more.

E-Ship: We will dive into the E-Ship product teaching attendees the ins and outs of parcel and LTL shipments, carrier integrations, rate shopping, barcoding, parcel and pallet packing, payment options (COD, prepaid, 3rd party, etc.), manifesting, lot tracking, use of E-Ship with various WMS configurations, best practices for product workflow, and more.

EDI: We will document flow, VAN vs. direct connections, job queue configuration, review of several documents including: 816, 846, 850, 855, 860, 856, 810, 820, 997, and more. We will also teach exception management, best practices on automation, ways to handle manual order changes, setup, packing rules, go-live transition, and how to avoid chargebacks. As EDI utilizes E-Ship for data collection, attendees of the EDI class must also attend the E-Ship class.

OWR:This product answers the question of "what orders do I have available to ship?" We cover day-to-day operation of Outbound Warehouse Request (OWR) for locations using no warehousing, through Directed Put-Away & Pick -- including pick generation and inventory allocation, replenishment, combined picking and wave picking. This class is included for all attendees.

The courses will be offered virtually, and attendees will receive a link to a recording of the class they can refer to later. The cost for the E-Ship class is $900, the cost for the entire course is $1800, with a $200-400 discount for additional employees of the same company (end users only). This cost includes a 2-hour one-on-one question and answer session with a Lanham certified teacher. The class is taught on Business Central 14 using the Windows Client, and attendees should already be familiar with BC/NAV order entry and processing.
