Keep reading to see if it is right for your shipping needs.<\/p>\n<p>What is UPS SurePost?<\/p>\n<p>UPS SurePost is a contract service for non-urgent residential packages ranging in weight from 1 ounce to 70 pounds. The service combines the consistency and reliability of the UPS Ground network with final delivery provided by the U.S. Postal Service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPS SurePost Service Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parcels may be shipped only from the 48 contiguous United States.<\/li>\n<li>Valid destinations are residential consignees in any US State (50), US Territory, Puerto Rico, PO Boxes, and APO\/FPO\/DPO addresses.<\/li>\n<li>Each shipment must be a single-piece forward shipment.<\/li>\n<li>Customer-supplied packaging type<\/li>\n<li>Four UPS SurePost services are available:\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>SurePost Less than 1 lb<\/u><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>1 oz to 15.99 oz<\/li>\n<li>a combined length and girth less than or equal to 130 inches<\/li>\n<li>a Sub-classification value if the UPS SurePost shipper&#8217;s contract requires it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b><strong><u>SurePost 1 lb or Greater<\/u><\/strong><\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b><u><\/u><\/b>1 lb to 70 lb<\/li>\n<li>a combined length and girth less than or equal to 130 inches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>SurePost Bound Printed Matter<\/u><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lb to 15 lb<\/li>\n<li>a combined length and girth less than or equal to 108 inches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>SurePost Media<\/u><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lb to 70 lb<\/li>\n<li>a combined length and girth less than or equal to 108 inches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A USPS Endorsement value is required for USPS-delivery shipments.\n<ul>\n<li>Default is <em>&#8220;Carrier &#8211; Leave if No Response&#8221;<\/em> for UPS SurePost 1 lb or Greater, UPS SurePost\u00ae BPM, and UPS SurePost Media.<\/li>\n<li>Default is &#8220;<em>Return Service Request<\/em>&#8221; for UPS SurePost Less than 1 lb.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Bill-To party must be the Shipper.<\/li>\n<li>Declared Value is not allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Service Options not allowed:\n<ul>\n<li>COD<\/li>\n<li>Signature Required, Adult Signature Required<\/li>\n<li>Return Service<\/li>\n<li>Hazardous Materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>UPS SurePost rates returned will be the negotiated rates per shipping account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UPS SurePost is available in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lanhamassoc.com\/e-ship.htm\">Lanham E-Ship<\/a> versions SE0.60.09 and newer.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about UPS SurePost, contact your UPS representative or your Lanham reselling partner.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sharon Rozeboom, UPS Product Manager, Lanham Associates &nbsp; UPS SurePost\u00ae, a contractual USPS service for non-urgent residential package delivery, is now supported by Lanham&#8217;s E-Ship.
